Sometimes less is more

Mies van der Rohe say that less is more has always led my architectural thinking. People ask about modernism and sometimes express their ambiguity around modern esthetics.
My quest has never been of beauty but of truth: I strongly feel that materials should have their say in building - they represent a truth of construction and engineering principles that cannot be turned around. Light and shadow, perspective and perception, feeling and atmosphere, movement and dreams - all of this is a part of what architecture is and should be. Strolling through a building should be like reading a book. Living in it, a pure tale of harmony and balance. I just LOVE designing buildings!
